I knew when I was in sixth grade I wanted to be a teacher. I graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelors degree. I began my teaching career teaching first grade. I also taught third and fourth grade before becoming a principal. I earned my Masters degree from Wichita State University.
Working with children has always been my passion. Every day is a fresh start and a new adventure. That's one of the best things about working with children. My husband and our two daughters, live on a farm southwest of Leon. My hobbies include farming, gardening, reading, candles, rocks, Christmas ornaments and scrapbooking.
